As Senior Portfolio Manager, Jean-François assists the team in monitoring the corporate bond market while also working on alternative credit solutions. He will also make investment recommendations for high yield bonds and will monitor these issuers. He will participate in setting the corporate bond investment strategy and will be involved in client servicing.

Prior to joining AlphaFixe, Jean-Francois worked for 23 years at National Bank Financial as Managing Director, Corporate Debt, where he was in charge of the corporate bond trading desk. He managed a team of approximately 25 professionals while overseeing a large inventory of financial products and sitting on various committees.

Jean-François holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from l'Université Laval (1994) and a Master's degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor (2020). He is also a CFA charterholder (1996) and holds a Certificate in ESG Investment from the CFA Institute (2022).
